Rustic Roots Salon

CLIENT

SERVICE

objective

Kristin Aarnio, owner of Rustic Roots Salon, got a clear vision of how she wanted the community to perceive her  brand. We met at her building in downtown Chisago City, MN, built in 1911 and teased this out.

She had a dream of illuminating the coziness factor of the salon, while also making sure that the guests new they were being treated as well, or better than a fancy salon in the cities.

The color palette needed to be reminiscent of nature and appealing to busy, working moms who desire a relaxing break from everyday commitments.

They wanted to express the idea of freedom and possibility in retirement, while inviting people to work hard and have fun planning for their future.

Marigold & June

CLIENT

SERVICE

objective

The idea of unique floral arrangements for unique people was at the forefront of this brand. We wanted to display the artisan side of floral design.

A client of Marigold & June would desire to gift the recipient with a one of a kind combination of locally grown, handpicked flowers.

CLIENT

services

objective

As a business that was purchased from a longstanding owner, and that had never really had any aesthetics tied to the brand, we were starting fresh.

This client wanted to maintain the trust of her current clients who have worked with the business for many years. We worked to state the name plainly and include an icon that would be timeless.
